BarTable Billiards Terms of Service
Last updated: October 29, 2026. Version: terms-v1.
These terms are an agreement between you and Autonomic LLC ("BarTable", "we", "us"). They cover bartablebilliards.com, the BarTable app and everything we run under that name (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. What BarTable is
BarTable helps pool players keep their own record and connect with rooms, cue-makers, vendors and league operators. We are a tool and a place to meet. We are not a league, a rating organisation, a pool room, a seller, or a party to anything you arrange with someone else.
This website is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any pool league. Names such as VNEA, APA and BCA belong to their owners and appear only to describe what a person plays.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Don't pretend to be someone else, and don't claim a record, bar or business that isn't yours. We look at every claim, and may decline or reverse one.
3. Things you add
"Your Content" is anything you type, upload or photograph: your profile, a player page, tournament results, a Space, a message, a score-sheet photo.
You own it. You give us a limited licence to host, copy, display and process Your Content only to run and improve the Service for you and the people you've chosen to show it to (for example, showing a public Space on the web, or reading a score sheet to compute your stats). The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from the limited copies described in the Privacy Policy (backups, search engine caches, and conversations the other person is part of).
You decide what's public. A live Space and a player page with its switch on are public. Anything public can be read, copied and kept by anyone, including search engines, and we can't recall every copy. A player page is yours to turn off at any time.
You promise that you have the right to add it, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that it doesn't break the law or someone else's rights. This matters most for:
- Other people. Don't post another person's private details or photos without their permission. If you upload a score sheet, you confirm you are entitled to, and you understand it names other people.
- Self-reported information. Ratings, tournament finishes, equipment and "leagues played" are typed in by members and are not checked by us. We don't promise any of it is true.
4. Score sheets and records
A record is built from sheets members photograph. The reading is done by software and can be wrong, which is why you confirm it. You're responsible for checking what you confirm. A record on BarTable is not an official league record, and a league's own records win. We may correct, hide or remove a record that is wrong, disputed or reported.
If your name appears on a sheet someone else uploaded and you want it corrected or removed, write to support at bartablebilliards dot com. We'll act on reasonable requests.
5. Spaces, messages and dealings with others
- A Space is a page published by its owner, who is solely responsible for it, including prices, availability and claims about what they offer.
- Verified means we confirmed, by the methods we describe, who runs the page. It is not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality, safety, price, or that the business will do what it says.
- Messages are between the two people in the conversation. We don't promise they're private from us: we may look at one if it's reported or to keep the Service safe, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Anything you arrange with a business or another member is between you and them. We aren't responsible for it. Use your own judgement, meet in public places, and don't send money to someone you don't know.
- League operators who list a bar are making their own claim. Listing is not an official association between the bar, the operator and any league organisation.
6. Rules
Don't:
- break the law, or use the Service to organise or settle wagers or gambling;
- harass, threaten or defame anyone, or post hateful, sexual or violent content;
- impersonate people or businesses, or post false reviews or claims;
- upload malware, scrape the Service, probe it for weaknesses, or overload it;
- send spam or unsolicited promotions through messages;
- use the Service to build lists of members to sell or market to others.
7. Our right to act
We may remove or hide content, suspend or end accounts, decline or reverse claims and verification, and limit features, at our discretion, for example to enforce these terms, respond to a report, protect someone, or comply with law. We'll tell you why when we reasonably can. You can appeal by writing to support at bartablebilliards dot com. You may delete your account at any time in Settings.
8. Copyright and takedown
If you believe something on BarTable infringes your copyright, send a notice to support at bartablebilliards dot com with the details the law requires. We may remove the content and end repeat infringers' accounts. If you think a notice was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice.
9. The Service as is
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that any record, rating, listing, message or business is accurate, or that it fits a purpose. It's free, in beta, and run by one person. Features may change or end.
10. Limits on what we owe
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, data or goodwill, from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for anything related to the Service is limited to US$50. These limits don't apply where the law doesn't allow them, including for fraud or anything that can't legally be limited.
11. If you cause us a claim
You agree to cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees, from a third party's claim that arises from Your Content or your breach of these terms. We'll tell you about the claim and let you help with it.
12. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Allen County, Indiana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or the Service.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms at any time. When we do, we'll tell you: a notice when you next sign in, and an email to the address on your account, with a summary of what changed and the date it takes effect. The current version is always at bartablebilliards.com/terms.html. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms; if you don't agree, delete your account. A change that makes more of your information public than you chose will not switch anything on for you: you'll be asked first.
14. Sponsorships and payments
Businesses can pay to place a banner on BarTable (a "Sponsorship"). This section applies to them, on top of the rest of these terms.
- Approval. Nothing is sold until we have approved you and sent you a private payment link. We may decline or remove any banner, for example if it is misleading, unlawful, off-topic, or does not belong to the business that is paying.
- Price and term. You pay the price shown at checkout, in US dollars, in advance, for a term of 1 or 12 months. Nothing renews on its own. The term starts when we put your banner live, not when you pay.
- Payment. Cards are handled by Stripe on its own page. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's terms apply to the payment.
- Refunds. If we cannot put your banner live, or we remove it for a reason that is not your breach, we refund the unused part of your term. Otherwise payments are not refundable.
- What you get. Your banner in the slot you chose for the term, labelled "Sponsor" and linking to the site you gave us. We do not promise any number of views or clicks; the monthly count is a courtesy. Banner design is a one-time fee.
- Your banner. You promise you have the rights to it (images, logos, names), that it is truthful and lawful, and that it is a plain image. You give us a licence to show it for the term.
15. The rest
- If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in force.
- We don't give up a right by not using it straight away.
- You can't transfer your account. We can transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business, with notice.
- These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
